About

SARA JANE KEHLER grew up in rural Manitoba as the youngest, and loudest, of seven children. She attended a small school where her dramatic voice earned her a lead role in a middle-school hillbilly-style play. After graduation, Sara dabbled in waitressing, worked as a receptionist, and became a legal assistant before settling in to be a full-time stay-at-home mom.

Sara is married, has three children, and now lives only ten minutes away from where she grew up. In her free time, Sara loves to read, write, and spontaneously organize. She has been known to compulsively purge clutter from around the house, making her the prime suspect when family items go missing. She’s also tried her hand at gardening, but has mostly given up thanks to a hopeless black thumb.

Sara finds inspiration for her writing from daily life. She has written two children’s novels (unpublished) and regularly blogs at www.saralivingfree.com. Sara is especially passionate about sharing the message that all people, especially children, are unique and treasured.
